SUMMARY

Provide general support such as preparing correspondence, forms and reports, arranging meetings, composing regular correspondence, processing confidential reports and documents, filing electronic or hard copy and tracking deadlines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

· Data entry into HRIS system for new and current employees.

· Organize and manage employees’ electronic records.

· Addressing employee questions and/or concerns related to HR policies during onboarding.

· Onboarding and verification for Form I-9 authorization.

· Ensure strict confidentiality of all staff and company information.

· Partners with employees and management to communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations.

· Facilitates training and/or provides new hire orientation and training to the workforce.

· Assists with development, maintenance and coordinating employee recognition programs.

· Pre- screens job applicants to fill entry level, supervisory and technical job openings.

· Monitors day-to-day implementation of policies concerning wages, hours and working conditions.

· Involved with strategic planning initiatives; assigned to Human Resources team.

· Process, verify, and maintain documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, and classifications.

· Record data for each employee, including such information as addresses, weekly earnings, absences, amount of sales or production, supervisory reports on performance, and dates of and reasons for terminations.

· Process and review employment applications to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicants.

· Answer questions regarding examinations, eligibility, salaries, benefits, and other pertinent information.

· Gather personnel records from other departments or employees.

· Request information from law enforcement officials, previous employers, and other references to determine applicants' employment acceptability.

· All other duties as assigned.

· Strong data entry skills

· Ability to research and analyze various different types of data information.

· Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation, or government law.

· Must be able to organize and prioritize work.

· Must be able to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

· Associates or Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management, or a related field.

· One to two years’ experience in Human Resources field.

· Background in employment law and other government compliance regulations is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
