Human Resource Generalist
J&B Installations is looking for an experienced HR Generalist. This position is responsible for a wide range of HR responsibilities, including onboarding, employee relations, separations, compliance, leave management, and policy enforcement. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a high level of discretion, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned)
Administer day-to-day HR functions.
- Support employees and managers with HR-related questions, policies, and procedures.
- Administer and explain benefit programs; assist employees with enrollment and claims issues.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assist with performance management processes and employee development programs.
- Investigate and resolve workplace concerns with fairness and confidentiality.
- Maintain and update personnel files.
- Responsible for corrective discipline and separations.
- Back up for payroll processing.
- Support HR projects, training sessions, and company culture initiatives.
Minimum Qualification Standards:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar degree
· 3+ years experience as an HR Generalist
· SHRM-CP or similar certification preferred
· Experience with Payentry payroll software a plus
· Equivalent combinations of education and work experience will be considered
