HR Staffing Assistant
Cameo Consulting Group, LLC a management consulting practice based out of Alexandria VA, is seeking a qualified and available Federal HR Staffing Specialist to support a Federal client in Arlington, VA. The position is full-time, and on-site.
Scope:
Conduct job analysis, preparing promotion and placement products, and issuing promotion and referral certificates;
b) Prepare certificates of eligibility;
c) Develop multiple recruitment strategies;
Interpret and apply laws, rules, and regulations, including Executive Orders, Delegated Examining Unit (DEU) regulations, 5 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Vet Guide, and other regulatory guidance;
Conduct staffing activities within various databases (e.g., e-QIP system, DEA Hire, USA Staffing System, EmpowerHR, etc.)
d) Determine appropriate rating and ranking selective factors, develop crediting plans to assess varying degrees of job qualifications, and explain the methodology to management;
e) Coordinate with and advise DEA managers on technical issues involving federal recruitment and placement actions;
f) Assist with gathering and compiling data for use in generating responses to the general public and federal employees regarding the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) requests and congressional requests;
Qualification:
- Must have at least 2 years of Federal admin experience
- Must have experience (but are not limited to) use of GSA’s existing application and software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google documents, etc.)
