Driving Change Automotive Group is currently looking for an AMAZING Payroll/HR Administrator  for a 6 month contract to assist our team.  As our business is growing, this opportunity may lead to a permanent position. 

This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate who's trying to break into the payroll/HR industry!  If you're interested in learning and growing in this area, then this is the position for you!

What you'll be doing:

Position Responsibilities:

HR Support

  • Assist with employee orientations and the supporting required documentation completion
  • Assist with entry level recruitment positions, as well as reference checks, driver's abstracts and background checks
  • Assist the Human Resources team in employee/leadership projects when required
  • Respond to HR admin requests (i.e confirmation of employment for employee mortgage/loan applications)
  • Create first draft communications from templates for HR Manager approval
  • Administer HR document management (rename, upload/file e-documents accurately)
  • Deliver Benefits brochures in person to new employees
  • Assist with HR “Tech†Employee administration (i.e. Password resets, Pension log-in info or additions of new dependents for Benefits)

Payroll Support

  • Assisting with workflow management in department (incoming email requests, projects, payroll, etc.)
  • Organizing submitted payroll information into folders for Payroll Department review.
  • Scanning and filing all payroll documents (pay plans, ee filing)
  • Ensuring all documents are saved and organized in appropriate electronic files and physical files.

Accounting/Admin Support

  • Assist with administrative duties of accounting team while new positions are being trained. (i.e. filing) 

What we are looking for:

  •  Recent HR/Payroll graduate or entry level experience is a definite asset!
  • Strong Administration Skills - Attention to detail, organization and an eye for the little things
  • Good communication skills and confidence in approaching people.  
  • Knowledge of Ceridian Dayforce will put you to the front of the line for consideration!
  • A willingness to learn and grow in the areas of HR and Payroll Administration
