The Role
The HR Advisor is the primary point of contact for our HR Services clients. This role delivers hands-on HR guidance and compliance support to small and medium-sized businesses across the United States, helping them navigate everyday people management, workplace compliance, and employee relations challenges. The HR Advisor acts as a trusted partner, ensuring clients have the confidence, tools, and best practices needed to manage their workforce and HR ecosystem effectively.
What will you do?
Assist new and currently assigned HR Services clients by helping them through HR issues and work on projects such as employee handbooks, compliance audits, review of HR forms and processes, etc.
Provide guidance to our clients on handling employee relations issues.
Respond to client queries through our internal system, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and HR trends at the Federal/State/Local levels.
Work collaboratively with internal teams, including payroll and benefits, to deliver seamless HR support.
What Education/Skills do you need to qualify?
Bachelor's degree or can substitute 7 years HR generalist experience
5 years of HR generalist experience
HR Certification: PHR or SHRM-CP
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain HR concepts clearly.
Intuitive troubleshooting/problem resolution skills
Ability to work independently while still being team oriented
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining deadlines
Ability to use prudent judgment and discretion in handling confidential client information
