HOURS: FULL TIME 37 - 40 hours per week - may vary according to occupancy.

Variety of shifts, combination of hours between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.

Weekdays, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for the overall cleanliness of guest rooms, public areas, hallways, and Housekeeping Rooms. Inventories linens and glasses on a monthly basis and submits information to the Executive Housekeeper. When assigned, will perform “Head Housekeeper” duties following housekeeping daily worksheets using fair and good judgment. Responsible for maintaining and communicating status of housekeeping employee attendance and tardiness to Housekeeping management. Responsible for housekeeping employee evaluations. Able to give direction to all Full-time Lead and specifically assigned Housekeepers using not only “effective production” as a focus, but also safety! Responsible for all Lost and Found articles. This includes returning all telephone inquiries. This duty also includes the shipping and handling charges and the packaging of lost articles.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous Supervision experience preferred. Minimum 2 years experience at Bavarian Inn Lodge or 2 years Housekeeping experience or the equivalent in another operation. Excellent communication and math skills. Has the ability to communicate, present and participate at meetings. Proficient in computer programs necessary in an office environment. Ability to be on feet for a continuous length of time, bend, reach, stretch and lift. Professional, neat appearance and friendly disposition. Knowledge of area and local attractions.
