Housekeeping Supervisor Full-Time
Experience for Success:
1 year of Housekeeping experience
High School diploma or equivalent
Prior Supervisor experience a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to work in a fast paced and physically active work environment
Job Duties:
Provide guests and team members with professional, efficient, courteous and genuine hospitality.
Anticipates guest’s needs and offers services prior to the guest asking.
Assist the Housekeeping Executive with the daily management of the Housekeeping department which includes but is not limited to, scheduling, assigning rooms to clean, inspecting rooms and common areas, supervising, coaching, training and counseling of the team.
Manages and maintains inventories and equipment to meet the needs of the property.
Maintains all safety standards to the property and Brand standards and informs the appropriate department when concerns arise.
Maintain open and professional communication with other department heads and supervisors to ensure the needs of the guests and team members are addressed timely.
Works with Executive Housekeeper to ensure all budgets are managed properly and within the guidelines.
Monitors Brand Service Scores and ensures Cleanliness scores are communicated to the team and appropriate actions are taken to be above the Brand average.
Ensures all team members attend mandatory meetings and complete all required training.
Ability to grasp, bend, stoop and push, pull and lift 30 bls.
