Housekeeping Supervisor - 2025 season
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the housekeeping and laundry operations. The ideal candidate will have a prior supervisory experience in a similar role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
· Oversee and manage the housekeeping operations of the hotel, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness in all areas
· Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and protocols to maintain high standards of cleanliness
· Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support as needed
· Schedule and assign tasks to housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient use of resources
· Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards
· Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
· Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering as necessary
· Handle guest requests or complaints related to housekeeping services
Qualifications:
· Availability to work various shifts, including weekends
· Good oral communication skills
· Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment
· Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role in the hospitality industry
· Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment used in industrial cleaning and floor care
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
· Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
· Good communication skills, both verbal and written
