Rotary Senior Living had a full-time opportunity in our Laundry/Housekeeping department. Part Time

Job Summary
This position is primarily in Laundry with training in Housekeeping. The Laundry Assistant performs a full range of laundry services to assure resident's clothing and linen supplies are maintained in clean, serviceable condition under the on-site supervision of the Laundry Supervisor.  Functions within strictly defined practices and procedures with little latitude for variation or change. The Housekeeping Assistant performs scheduled housekeeping duties under the on-site supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor, with the purpose of maintaining the facility, furniture, and equipment in clean and serviceable condition

  What you will be doing:

General cleaning including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, etc.

General Laundry including gathering, sorting, washing, drying, folding and repairing garments

Keeps supervisor informed of supplies needed/Equipment repair needs

Use chemical accounting to directions.

Be a positive attitude and work well on a team

Follow all policies and procedures regarding infection control

Literacy in written and spoken English

Strong work ethic/dependability

Ability to complete tasks independently
