Housekeeping Inspector - Grande Shores Ocean Resort 

Morning Shift - 2 positions needed


Job description

As a housekeeping Supervisor, you will be assisting our team of Housekeepers, while making sure our property is both visually appealing and safe. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to; responding to guests' needs, room inspections, and acting as a direct line between housekeepers and management. You will be responsible for ensuring that we continue to give our guests and homeowners the highest standard of cleaning possible.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to -

  • Maintain Company standards of cleanliness and efficiency
  • Schedule shifts and arrange for replacement in cases of absence
  • Perform room inspections
  • Inspect housekeeping closets for cleanliness
  • Confirm that only approved chemicals are in use by housekeepers
  • Efficiently manage supplies
  • Participate in cleaning projects as required
  • Communicate information to the Housekeeping director
  • Coach, train and lead housekeeping staff
  • Communicate with other departments to fulfill guests needs
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems/safety hazards

Requirements

  • Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Previous experience in hotel housekeeping
  • Must be able to work well with others while maintaining a positive attitude
