Housekeeping Full-time Float (7a-3:30pm) EOW Trinity Center
Luther Park Community has an opening for a real go-getter/self starter in housekeeping. We're looking for someone who works well as part of a team but is responsible for their own work. This is a float position so there's an opportunity to work in all the buildings on campus. Our Housekeeping crew works independently, each having their own assignments but also as a team to help each other complete all daily tasks in a timely manner. This is a full-time (7a-3:30p) every other weekend position.
JOB SUMMARY:
Carry out all cleaning duties as directed by the Environmental Services Supervisor.
Ensure all daily and deep cleaning duties are adhered to.
Dust, clean, and polish all fixtures, furniture, curtains, baseboards, vents, windows, fans, top of door frames, top of windows, etc.
Move furniture and other heavy objects as required to clean.
Check all electrical cords on beds and lamps for bare wires and report any issues to facilities.
Collect and properly dispose of trash.
Adhere to correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
Ensure all cleaning chemicals are correctly and safely used and kept safely in locked cart.
Be sensitive to the privacy and individual needs of the residents.
Assist with resident moves and preparing rooms for admissions.
Adhere to all policies and procedures that pertain to your position and department.
Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene.

REQUIREMENTS:
1 year or more experience in housekeeping preferred but not mandatory
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language
Must possess good verbal communication skills
Must follow written and verbal direction from supervisor
Must attend all scheduled in-service meetings and/or complete all on line classes in a timely manner
Ability to work alone as well as part of a team
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, perform overhead lifting and perform other common physical movements as needed.
Able to lift 40 lbs.
90% of your shift will involve walking.
A post-offer physical, drug screen, Tspot and background check required.
