JOB TITLE:                              Housekeeper

AVAILABLE SHIFTS:               8 AM - 4:30 PM--Work 4 Days ON / 2 Days OFF

JOB LOCATION:                      Rockwall, TX

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Clean assigned resident rooms and common areas using provided daily task sheet.

·       Ensuring proper handling and disposal of waste; Trashing removal, including reuse and recycling

·       Performs housekeeping services to keep facility and resident rooms clean.

·       Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services when performing routine cleaning assignments in resident living and/or recreational areas.

·       Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, etc., in resident rooms, recreational areas, etc., daily as instructed.

·       Clean windows/mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms, and entrance/exit ways.

·       Clean floors, to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting, etc

·       Distributing laundered articles and linens

·       Replacing and hanging draperies

·       Cleaning public restrooms and replenishing supplies as needed

·       Perform other duties as assigned/required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
• Able to pass background check

COVID-19 considerations:  We COVID test new hires on first day of employment and all unvaccinated staff twice a week.  Please provide a copy of your vaccination card (if you have been vaccinated). You are required to wear a mask while in the facility and to wear appropriate PPE.
