We are excited to be recruiting for a Sales Coordinator at Inn at the Forks

Join a dynamic and high-performing sales team as a Sales Coordinator within the hospitality industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to launch and grow their career.

Inn at the Forks is a sleek and stylish luxury boutique hotel located in The Forks, Manitoba’s premier tourist destination. The property features 116 modern guestrooms and suites, some offering scenic waterfront views, along with approximately 8,000 square feet of versatile meeting and event space. Guests can enjoy exceptional on-site amenities, including SMITH Restaurant, a contemporary dining experience showcasing locally sourced ingredients, and Riverstone Spa, a full-service spa designed for relaxation and rejuvenation.

POSITION SUMMARY:
In this role, you will support the sales team by liaising with clients to ensure clear communication and the seamless execution of events. You will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining accurate event documentation, while developing a strong understanding of menu offerings, event setups, and hotel services. This entry-level position is ideal for someone with a passion for sales, attention to detail, and a desire to build a career in hospitality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Provide administrative and operational support to the Sales team in coordinating group bookings, meetings, and social events

·        Act as a primary contact for client inquiries, delivering prompt and professional guest-focused communication

·        Prepare and manage event documentation including contracts, proposals, and banquet event orders (BEOs) with accuracy and attention to detail

·        Coordinate event logistics across departments including SMITH Restaurant, Riverstone Spa, Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Banquets to ensure seamless execution

·        Maintain and update client records, sales activity, and booking information within internal systems

·        Support event execution by ensuring all details are confirmed, communicated, and accurately documented

·        Develop strong knowledge of guestrooms, suites, meeting space, restaurant, and spa offerings to support client needs

·        Assist with site tours and client visits, providing a polished and welcoming experience

·        Monitor deadlines and event timelines to ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and on time

·        Contribute to overall sales goals through organization, communication, and follow-up

·        Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

·        Previous Hotel Sales Admin experience is considered an asset or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

·        Hotel Management and Sales courses are considered an asset.

·        Strong interpersonal, communication and time management skills are required.

·        Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel

·        Positive, Outgoing, Hardworking and Enthusiastic personality

·        Ability to effectively communicate with team members.

·        The ability to stay focused in a high volume, fast paced industry and ensure accuracy and procedures are followed.

·        Excellent organizational skills and ability/Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality/Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
