Hotel Restaurant Server- Hourly + Tips

The Courtyard is seeking a highly skilled and charismatic Server. The Restaurant Server is integral to the guest experience. The ideal candidate will provide breakfast services to the guests of the property and be highly focused on providing superior service.

Essential Job Functions

· Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order.

· Attend to customers upon entrance.

· Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages.

· Take and serve orders.

· Be flexible and willing to perform some minor dishwashing and food preparation tasks along with other duties. .

· Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products.

· Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen.

· Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude.

· Issue bills and accept payment

Work Environment

This position will be located at a hotel and primarily work in the kitchen or restaurant/bar area.

· Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, or hear.

· Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and pushing and/or pulling approximately 50lbs.

· Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

· Ability to stand during the entire 8-hour shift.
