We are hiring a reliable and skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician/Engineer to join our team. This position plays a key role in ensuring our hotel remains safe, functional, and comfortable for all guests. Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance throughout guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces.
- Troubleshoot and repair:
- Basic plumbing issues (leaks, clogs, running toilets)
- Electrical issues (switches, outlets, breakers, lighting)
- Painting, drywall, cosmetic repairs
- Minor HVAC issues (filter changes, thermostat resets)
- Complete scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
- Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests.
- Assist with hotel projects, improvements, and small renovations.
- Maintain organized and clean maintenance work areas.
- Follow all hotel and safety policies.
Requirements
- 3+ years hotel maintenance experience
OR 5+ years experience as a handyman, contractor, or related trade. - Strong knowledge of general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
- Ability to diagnose and repair common hotel-related issues independently.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to work weekends and assist with emergencies as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Professional communication skills and a guest‑service mindset.
Schedule
- Full‑time
- Weekends required
- Possible on‑call rotation depending on hotel needs
