General Manager - Holiday Inn Lincoln Southwest!

Anant Enterprises, a leader and visionary in the Hospitality Real Estate Development and Management Industry, is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and energetic General Manager for our Holiday Inn Lincoln Southwest location. As the General Manager, you serve as the cornerstone of the organization, providing leadership focused on best-in-class operations, integrity, dedication, and ensuring exceptional guest services.

Core Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop your staff into a successful, efficient, and resilient team focused on providing all guests with a positive and lasting experience of well-being, comfort, and conscientious hospitality
  • Lead the way for your team by personally taking initiative, demonstrating flexibility to the needs of the business, following and honoring company policies and values, and operating in accordance with the best-in-class standards
  • Create and implement business plan opportunities, monitoring and responding to the needs of the company, and understanding the competition
  • Achieve sales and revenue targets, strategize and accomplish short and long-term goals
  • Ensure and uphold the exceptional standards of quality and attractiveness; provide the sound judgment and oversight required for exceptional maintenance of the hotel property's interior, exterior, and equipment
  • Follow all Federal, State, Local, and Hotel regulations, policies, procedures, and guidelines. Work closely with team members, alert senior management to safety and/or security issues and attend all required training

Essential Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail to spot errors in transactions, room bookings, etc., as well as safety issues or hazards around the hotel
  • Must be proactive in problem-solving and proactive in anticipating guest needs
  • Possess excellent active listening and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Capable of efficient time management
  • Possess sound judgment and decision-making skills
  • Capable of being resourceful, highly organized, and customer focused
  • High school/GED diploma required
  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel operations
  • Demonstrated knowledge in a broad range of fields including hotel operations, financial, marketing, employee and guest relations, maintenance, front desk, and housekeeping standards
  • Marriott and FOSSEE experience preferred
