Host/Hostess Tonight & Tomorrow at La Colombe d'Or Hotel

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

ï‚· 1 year experience in a fine-dining environment

ï‚· Comfortable working in fast paced, high energy environment.

ï‚· Strong communicator and service oriented. Enjoys working with the public

ï‚· Basic knowledge of food and beverage products

ï‚· Sense of humor, positive and friendly, dependable and well-groomed

DUTIES AND EXPECTATIONS:

ï‚· Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.

ï‚·  Endeavor to deliver friendly, efficient and excellent service and cooperation with other servers

ï‚· Work closely with team members and supervisors to create extraordinary dining experiences

ï‚· Monitor table maintenance and detailing throughout service experience

ï‚· Complete daily side work, menu maintenance and ensure perfect tabletop set up prior to service

ï‚· Collaborate with setup and breakdown of the restaurant for next meal service

ï‚· Work other occasional assignments with banquets and room service

ï‚· Maintain an impeccably clean work environment that includes all guest and service areas in the restaurant.

ï‚· Be punctual and dependable, well- groomed and ready to work with a positive and helpful attitude

ï‚·  Wish all guests a warm and friendly farewell.

EDUCATION

ï‚· High School or equivalent (Degree or certifications desirable but not required). TABC and Food Handler permits highly desirable.

LANGUAGE:

ï‚· English. Spanish helpful but not required
