Summary: Responsible for the welcoming and guidance of guests entering the hotel, whether be for a hotel stay or a visit to the restaurant, the host/hostess will be the first and last impression of our guest. No Previous experience required.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

 

Essential Job Functions:

        Responsible for the welcome of all guests that enter La Colombe d’Or, escorting them to the appropriate place (Front Desk or Restaurant)

        Be present on the lobby floor engaging with customers during service hours.

        Monitor coursing and steps of service for all tables, anticipating guests upcoming needs.

        Speaking with guests, or staff using a clear, professional, and respectful language at all times.

        Responds to individual guest needs, inquiries, and/or complaints as they occur.

        Assist the restaurant team with the inspection of tables, ensuring they are ready for guests arrival.

        Ensures customer satisfaction with all aspects of the dining experience and/or hotel experience

        Fields Tonight & Tomorrow calls and email in a professional and helpful manner

        Take In-room dining calls and orders, demonstrating in dept knowledge of food and beverage menus.

        Assist the restaurant team with side work and prep work with downtime.

        Report to Restaurant Managers regarding any need for repairs or housekeeping of all restaurant spaces and materials.

        Assist in the upkeep, storage, and organization of all restaurant supplies

        Adhere to grooming guidelines and standards.

        Observe all legal guidelines and procedures of the TABC.

        Thorough knowledge of product recipes, hotel policies and executing guest special requests.

        Thorough knowledge of and correct application of all hotel policies, procedures, and practices.

        Ability to maximize effective usage of the systems in place and recommend system improvements.

        Perform other duties as assigned.
