Job Description- Houseperson
Summary/Objective
To perform a combination of tasks which maintains the hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner, thereby contributing to a pleasant, positive experience.
Essential Functions
- Cleans and maintains all public, storage, and back of the house areas
- Greets and welcomes guests.
- Cleans guest rooms upon request by management.
- Handle and completes all guests’ requests immediately.
- Dust, vacuums, mops, all public areas including hallways and breakfast area
- Removes trash throughout the day in all common areas including outside
- Assists room attendants on the floor with supplies when instructed
- Assist laundry in folding and washing
- Cleans and maintains public restrooms throughout the day
- Function as maintenance when maintenance person is absent
- Follow all OSHA policies and guidelines
- Ensure the safety of our guest's property assets; never open door for guests who forgot their key(redirect them to frontdesk)
