Home Infusion Pharmacy Compounding Technician

Essential Job Functions:

• Perform infusion-related sterile compounding procedures following regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Pick medications and supplies for patient orders with precision and care.
• Conduct data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Assemble prepacked supply kits to streamline patient care processes.
• Assist with the maintenance and cleaning of the pharmacy work areas, quality control processes, and performance improvement activities as directed by the pharmacy manager and under the guidelines of USP 797.

Qualifications:

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Required: At least 18 years of age.
• Required: Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with team members, supervisors, referral sources, and patients.
• Required: Registered with the Florida Board of Pharmacy.
• Preferred: Experience in hospital or home infusion pharmacy. 
• Preferred: National pharmacy technician certification (CPhT).
• Preferred: Completion of pharmacy technician training program.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift over 40 lbs, such as cases of patient supplies and infusion solutions.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods.
• Proficient in use of computer-based data entry programs and Microsoft products.

Hours:

• Full-time position.
• 10-hour shifts, 4 days a week
• Rotating Saturdays
