$14.00-$14.50 + Hourly Pay, Overtime accepted, Performance based pay increase after probate period

A leading provider of home health care services is looking for Home Health Aide's to join our growing team! The Home Health Aide will play a vital role in allowing our aging population to stay comfortably in their home.  The ideal candidate for this opportunity will be kind and compassionate with a desire to help people. We have day and night shifts available!

The Home Health Aide will be responsible for:

Serving as a companion to clients

*Transporting clients to and from appointments, errands, activities, etc.

*Managing medication and assessing effectiveness of current medication regimen           

* Preparing meals

*Assisting in daily household tasks as needed

*Tending to personal hygiene needs

* Providing bathing and dressing assistance

*Assisting with patient transfer

* Shopping and running errands as needed

* Communicating with the clients family/friends regarding care needs

*Following patient care plan

The Home Health Aide will excel with:

         Caregiving experience preferred

         Experience with Alzheimer's or dementia care preferred

         Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required

         Proven reliability with an excellent work ethic

         Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time

         Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance

         Interpersonal skills, including exceptional patience and listening skills

         The ability to provide care across a variety of settings

         Empathy and the ability to care for the clients social, emotional, physical, and mental needs

         Ability to stay calm and diffuse stressful or uncomfortable situations

         An understanding of what to do in an emergency

         Training in any special areas of care you provide

The Home Health Aide will be rewarded with:

         $14.00-$14.50 + Hourly Pay, Dependent on Experience
