Help Desk Specialist
Payentry is looking for a Help Desk Specialist to join the Systems department. This role is responsible for installations, configurations, troubleshooting, and resolutions related to hardware and software components the company uses. Successful individuals will have experience and a proven record of working independently and as part of a team to address of resolve technical needs.
Essential Functions
Install and configure hardware and software components.
Work with new hires on the setup of systems.
Resolve any technical issues with hardware, software, or connectivity.
Perform networking hardware and/or software upgrades.
Support users online with configuration of workstations, servers, printers, and network peripherals.
Assist with troubleshooting and diagnostics testing.
Repair or replace hardware as needed.
Research solutions to current and future technical problems.
Contribute innovative ideas to the company.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Associates degree in computer science or combination of equivalent experience and education
1+ years of experience in a similar role
Experience troubleshooting systems
Skilled in database programming and software installation
Proficient with Windows and Apple products
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Familiar with a range of software and hardware
