Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Diagnose and inspect equipment for faults and malfunctions.
- Repair and adjust equipment and replace defective parts
- Perform updates, pre-season delivery inspections, and pre-season inspections.
- Complete work orders and enter technician notes into a computer
- Must adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety standards, as the company is committed to the protection and wellness of its employees
- Must be able to provide service at the customers' site by driving a service truck to the customers' location
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in the 421A Heavy duty Mechanic apprenticeship program with your Level 3
- Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures
- Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of heavy-duty and/or agricultural equipment
- Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
- A High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
- A valid driver’s license with a reasonable abstract is required
- Forklift license preferred
