Veterans Engineering is seeking a motivated and dynamic Healthcare Recruiter (Locum Tenens) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and placing healthcare professionals in full time and temporary positions across various VA Health facilities across the nation. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our nations’ veterans receive exceptional care and that our providers have fulfilling assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and recruit qualified healthcare professionals for locum tenens assignments.
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, understanding their needs and preferences.
• Conduct interviews, reference checks, and credentialing processes for candidates.
• Collaborate with our partners to understand their staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
• Negotiate contracts and compensation packages for locum tenens placements.
• Maintain accurate records of candidates and assignments in the recruitment database.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in locum tenens staffing.
• Attend job fairs, conferences, and networking events to promote the company and attract talent.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in recruitment, preferably in the healthcare sector.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong understanding of locum tenens staffing and healthcare regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in using recruitment software and databases (e.g., ATS systems).
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
