Head Housekeeper

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team, oversee daily operations, and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and IHG Brand Standards are met.
Position Overview
The Head Housekeeper will manage the housekeeping department, supervise staff, schedule shifts, and maintain inventory of supplies. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance administrative responsibilities with team leadership and operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and support housekeeping staff, ensuring adherence to company standards.
- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure proper coverage.
- Conduct daily inspections of rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness.
- Manage housekeeping supplies and inventory.
- Address and resolve guest concerns related to housekeeping.
- Enforcing IHG Brand Standards and trainings.
- Involvement in Quality Audits
- Collaborate with management to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain records of staff performance, attendance, and training.
- Assist in hands-on cleaning duties when needed to support the team.
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or managerial experience in housekeeping or hospitality (2+ years preferred).
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to train, motivate, and manage a diverse team.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and safety procedures.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
