Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Guest Service Representative to join our team. As the first point of contact for guests, the Front Desk Agent plays a key role in ensuring a positive experience. If you have excellent communication skills, enjoy working with people, and have a passion for hospitality, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival in a friendly and professional manner.
- Check guests in and out of the hotel, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and payments are processed.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and efficiently.
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails, providing information about the hotel, services, and local attractions.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Ensure guest information is accurately entered into the hotel management system.
- Manage reservations and assist with bookings, including cancellations or changes.
- Assist with the coordination of room service as needed.
- Ensure hotel policies and procedures are followed, including security protocols.
- Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Promote hotel services and amenities to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills, with experience using hotel management software a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including morning, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays.
