Guest Room Attendant
Position: Guest Room Attendant
Reports To: Executive Housekeeper
Summary of Position
Ensure guest rooms are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and ready for guests’ arrivals. Inspect rooms for any maintenance issues and answer all guest requests quickly and graciously.
Requirements
• Has a minimum one (1) years of facility experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays based on business needs.
General Responsibilities
• Understand and follow all Housekeeping procedures.
• Understand and follow all safety procedures.
• Understand and follow all chemical safety guidelines.
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
• Clean guest rooms with attention to detail and care.
Specific Responsibilities
• Demonstrate a high level of integrity, take ownership of personal actions, communicate effectively, promote collaboration, nurture a positive, professional work environment, and adhere to Company’s Operating Procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service and greet all guests with a smile.
• Practice safety standards always and keep the property safe for guest and associates.
• Understand all hotel Safety procedures such as proper lifting, ladder safety, first aid, eye protection and chemical safety.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms according to Company’s cleanliness and quality standards.
• Inspect all linen for stains, debris, and condition prior to placing in guest rooms.
• Inspect all cleaned rooms for quality and cleanliness.
• Clean and sanitize public areas as assigned by management.
• Report necessary maintenance items to be repaired.
• Report any illegally activity to management (i.e., drug, weapons, prostitution, etc.).
• Report all lost and found items to your supervisor.
• Perform deep clean assignments as instructed by your supervisor.
• Ensure all guest rooms are safe and secure. Verifying by closing the door and that the latched is closed.
• Fully understand and be able to perform all duties of House Person and Laundry Attendants.
• Perform other duties as needed and requested by management.
