About Working on a “Floatel” 

LandSea will be providing workforce catering and accommodation services for guests onboard the MV Isabelle, a 650-passenger “Floatel”. The Floatel will be permanently docked in Squamish, B.C., and is estimated to operate for up to three years.

Our client Bridgemans is a global provider of workforce floatels and marine services. Their vessel, the MV Isabelle, will be arriving in Canada in early 2024. 

All crew members onboard the MV Isabelle must have the minimum marine safety (Seafarers) certifications required by Transport Canada for the specific job.

At work, the crew is provided with accommodation, full meals, and WIFI, and can access health/gym facilities they can access when off work. We provide partial uniforms and help with the travel/reservations as needed to and from locations. Excellent Health and Wellness benefits are offered after three months.

About the Opportunity

We have two openings for Guest Reception Clerks.

The Guest Reception Clerk serves as the first point of contact for all guests on the vessel. As such, the ideal candidate should be friendly, welcoming, patient, helpful, and knowledgeable. Their duties may include greeting guests as they arrive, managing the check-in and check-out process, answering questions, and requests, and helping with administrative tasks at the front desk.

The Guest Reception Clerk provides support to the store and monitors the CCT (closed-circuit television).

The Guest Reception Clerk reports to the Hospitality Manager or Director.
