Golf Shop Attendant

Position Summary

The Club at Twin Lakes is one of the Lehigh Valley’s most popular golf courses and a TKo Golf destination.  Twin Lakes is seeking a Golf Shop Attendant who will be responsible for providing high quality and friendly customer service to our guests while also assisting the Director of Golf/General Manager during golf outings and other activities as warranted.

Qualifications

·         Possesses a spirit of hospitality, friendly and to be dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service

·         Demonstrate willingness to employee selling techniques that assist guests with additional purchase and increase sales

·         Being punctual, an active listener and comfortable working independently and as a part of a team

·         General working knowledge of the game of golf; rules, regulations, terminology and etiquette is highly preferred but not required (if the candidate possesses significant related hospitality experience and history of success)

·         Be able to work in a standing position for an extended period of time

·         Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·         Greets guests, provide prompt, courteous and friendly customer service

·         Manages reservation system, checks in guests, collects fees, and assigns tee times; informs players of course rules and regulations

·         Assists in coordinating and aiding in department tournaments and events

·         Assists guests with all their needs while in the Golf Shop.  Ensures inquiries and requests are met efficiently and professionally while seeing that guest concerns are dealt with in a pleasant manner

·         Maintains records of daily play on golf course and maintaining other data as directed

·         Maintains the Golf Shop environment by keeping the shop neat and orderly by general housekeeping duties; maintains, cleans, and straightens merchandise displays, cleans facility

·         Accepts orders/shipments and stocks shelves/racks. Advises supervisor of receipt of items and inventory levels as needed

·         Maintains positive professional and effective working relationships by providing exceptional customer service

·         Reliable and punctual attendance is an essential function of this job to ensure continuity

·         May be required to work early mornings, evenings, holidays or weekends as needed

Compensation

·         Starting at $16 per hour
