Job Description:              

·         Primary interface and point of contact between the Company and Customer for manufacturing programs to ensure customer satisfaction.

·         Work with an interdisciplinary program team.

·         Track and follow up on all open issues.

·         Handles any changes related to the manufacturing programs such as customer engineering changes, supplier requested changes to a component or mfg. process, internal mfg. process changes, etc.

·         Prepare and lead quote activities for responsible programs.

·         Establishes program timelines and ensures that customer and internal milestones are met.

·         Lead local and global APQP meetings within the organization but also with the customer; assist and solve technical issues as they arise.

·         Assist Program Managers in other regions if the program is a global program.

·         Establish SOR for manufacturing process equipment and leads RFQ process.

·         Travel to customer locations for presentations and program meetings as required.

·         Adhere to all rules and regulations of SHW.

·         Any other reasonable request made by Management.

 

Job Qualifications:

·         Minimum of 7 years automotive experience, OEM(s), Tier 1 & Tier II.

·         Must have worked a minimum of 2 years in a previous program manager position.

·         Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and /or equivalent work experience.

·         Knowledge of ISO 9002 or TS 16949 ability to write procedures and work instructions.

·         Experience with electro-hydraulic products would be an asset.

·         Excellent communication skills dealing with Customers & Suppliers both internal & external.

·         Ability to work in a team.

·         Work with minimal supervision.

·         Strong communication skills.

·         Experienced with MS Office and Project software.

·         German language knowledge would be an asset.

·         Self-starter with a positive attitude.

·         Ability to travel internationally.

·         Ability to work a flexible schedule if required.
