Duties:

• Cost and Budget Control: Assists in managing costs, budgeting, and the project control system.

• Best Practices Development: Identifies and implements best practices for project control tools and procedures.

• Collaboration: Interfaces with Senior Program Controls Specialists and Managers to support decision-making.

• Data Analysis: Provides detailed analysis and validation of data for accuracy.

• Policy Recommendations: Suggests changes to improve organizational effectiveness.

• Reporting: Organizes data and develops reports for management and stakeholders.

• Process Development: Creates new processes related to budgets, estimates, and schedules.

• Documentation Support: Provides support for documenting program control processes, policies, and procedures.

• Audit Support: Assists with internal and external audits.

• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoots issues related to budgets, scope, schedules, and funding.

Experience Requirements:

• Six years of experience in project controls, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and reporting.

• Three years of experience as a Program or Project Controls Specialist, especially in government agencies or on infrastructure projects.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Information Technology, Finance/Accounting, or Business Administration.

• Experience can compensate for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Skills:

• Microsoft Office Proficiency: High level of proficiency required.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills.

• Organization and Planning: Superior organizational and planning abilities.

• Teamwork: Ability to foster efficient working relationships with project teams and staff.
