What we’re looking for:
General Managers need to be talented leaders who show up for their team and are committed to continual growth. Our General Managers are the face of the store, they have full ownership, they are able to make decisions to impact their guests and help achieve company goals. Most importantly, our managers are passionate about health, wellness and supplements.
This unique mix of right brain (organization skills, deadline driven) and left brain (creative product placement and recipe development ideas) skills makes General Managers very special people. They are the lifeblood of our organization and we’re looking to find more wonderful Managers who can help us grow!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading all aspects of day-to-day store operations and team performance
- Driving sales, labor, and inventory goals while maintaining top-tier guest service
- Hiring, training, and developing a passionate, high-energy team
- Creating and maintaining a culture of positivity, accountability, and connection
- Collaborating with upper leadership to implement new initiatives and ensure brand standards are met
- Handling facility and equipment maintenance, vendor communication, and ordering
- Being a role model of the SunLife mission—you set the tone, lead by example, and inspire excellence
Salary & growth opportunities:
- General Managers base salaries are at $68,640 year - we also have a cell phone stipend, wellness allowance, and a quarterly bonus structure
- You’ll work closely with a District/Area Manager and our Training Manager
- You’ll go through 6 weeks of training to ensure you have all the tools to manage a SunLife team
- You’ll be reviewed on your willingness to learn and improve
- Strong opportunity for growth for General Managers who take on additional responsibilities outside of their home store
- We actively promote from within. Successful General Managers are first in line for promotion.
Make sure you’re comfortable with:
- Working on your feet about 70% of the time
- An Appearance Policy which does not allow for extreme hair colors or facial piercings (nose and ears excluded)
- Full accountability - you have a lot of freedom in your store but you will have a set of policies to adhere to
- Heavy corporate involvement - we are dedicated to our managers and their development. You will have face time with operations every single week
- Working on weekends - you are the master of your own schedule but we do need our GMs present during the busy weekends. We allow for 1 weekend off per month without the use of PTO (weekend is defined as Saturday and Sunday)
