General Manager
Purpose
The General Manager owns all aspects of store performance, including sales growth, profitability and operational execution. This role leads daily operations, sets the standard through example, and develops a high-performing team while upholding brand standards and excellence in cleanliness, service and product quality to drive consistent growth and profitability.

Operations & Store Leadership
· Lead all aspects of daily store operations, including opening and/or closing and shift management.
· Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality frozen yogurt, toppings and guest experiences.
· Oversee food preparation and production, maintaining freshness, quality and portion standards.
· Manage meal periods to ensure smooth service while meeting staffing and operational needs
· Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store, enforcing health, safety and sanitation standards.
· Monitor and maintain all store equipment, coordinating repairs or replacements as needed.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and operational standards.
Team Leadership
· Own the full employment lifecycle: recruitment, hiring, onboarding, development, performance management and separations (in partnership with human resources).
· Coach, mentor and develop team members and shift leaders to build a high-performing and engaged team.
· Lead by example as a hands-on operator, stepping in to support any role as needed.
· Maintain proper staffing levels through effective scheduling, labor planning, and cross-training.
· Recognize and reinforce positive behaviors while addressing performance issues proactively.
Financial & Performance Management
· Take full accountability for P&L performance, controlling food, labor and operating costs.
· Drive sales growth through effective in-store execution, promotions, and local marketing initiatives.
· Analyze sales, labor, and inventory reports to identify trends and implement action plans for improvement.
· Inventory management which includes ordering, receiving, auditing and minimizing waste.
Guest Experience & Brand Standards
· Strive to have every guest interaction meets or exceeds brand expectations for service, quality, and cleanliness.
· Actively seek and respond to guest feedback, resolving concerns promptly and communicating with leadership for continuous improvement.
Strategic & Partnership Responsibilities
· Work closely with Operations and Support Center teams to implement company initiatives and maintain consistent standards.
· Plan and execute strategies to optimize store performance, team development, and operational efficiency.
· Provide leadership for continuous improvement in store processes, guest satisfaction and financial results.
Work Environment
This position works in a store setting. The employee regularly comes into contact with water, sanitation solutions, frozen and refrigerated products, powder products, water, ice, produce items and office supplies and equipment. The employee is frequently required to wash their hands. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
Qualifications
· 5+ years of food/beverage, or retail supervisory experience preferred.
· This full-time role requires availability for a, 8 hours a day, five-day workweek.
· Must have a flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Education and Experience
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Associate or bachelor's degree in business, Hospitality, Restaurant Management, or related field preferred but not required.
· 2-5+ Years of leadership experience in food service or a similar fast paced environment with prior management experience is required.
· Proven leadership skills to recruit, hire, train and develop high performing teams.
· Experience managing full store operations, including staffing, scheduling and day-to-day execution.
· Strong business acumen, including planning, budgeting and P&L management with the ability to analyze performance and implement corrective actions.
· Proficient in labor scheduling, inventory management, and cost control practices.
· Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations (ServSafe certification preferred or willingness to obtain).
License/Certifications
· Must be able to reliably report to multiple work sites have personal transportation, a valid driver’s license, and maintain required automobile insurance coverage. Mileage reimbursement will be provided in accordance with company policy.
