Snow Removal Technician
SUMMARY
The Snow Removal Technician will work in a team environment to complete routine maintenance and snow removal projects for Peek ‘n Peak Resort. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, spreading salt, filling out salt logs, snow and trash removal, and landscaping.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Work in a team environment on maintenance requests as assigned by the Facilities Manager and/or Mountain Operations Manager to complete projects within established timeframes.
- Provide efficient and friendly service by communicating with management, co-workers, and guests at all levels.
- Assist project managers with transporting, securing materials, and completing specific tasks to ensure safe and efficient completion of assigned work.
- Operate equipment to complete snow and trash removal as assigned to provide a safe environment, prevent damage or injury, and limit liability exposure.
- Spread salt on walkways and roads, and accurately complete salt logs.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; vocational school training preferred.

- Valid Drivers License

- Must be physically able to lift up to 100 pounds waist-high and work on lifts. This requires considerable use of arms and legs and positioning the whole body, such as climbing to heights over 8 feet.

- Ability to perform precisely coordinated movements of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble small objects.
- Ability to visualize how something will look after it is moved or rearranged.
- Constant movement around the Resort, performing the majority of job duties outdoors, often in inclement weather, for extended periods of time.
