Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Full-time General Maintenance Technician to help maintain and improve our facilities. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment where your expertise is essential to the safety and comfort of our residents and staff.

Position Details:

• Starting Wage: $21.45/hour
• Weekend Pay: Additional $5.00/hour for Saturday and Sunday shifts
• Essential Bonus: $0.85/hour (temporary)
• Requirements: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Licensing: Chauffeur’s License required (or must obtain within 90 days)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform interior and exterior building maintenance, including repairs to walls, floors, cabinets, and ceilings.
• Repair or replace baseboards, tiles, locks, door closure systems, and other carpentry tasks.
• Maintain heating and cooling systems by power washing chillers, replacing filters, recording gauge information, and performing lubrication.
• Conduct plumbing maintenance, including lavatories, pumps, sewers, kitchen, and laundry equipment.
• Handle electrical maintenance, including fire alarms, smoke detectors, sprinklers, and nurse call systems.
• Perform lawn care tasks such as seeding, fertilizing, weeding, and mowing.
• Transport and assemble movable equipment as needed.
• Drive facility vehicles, including buses, for transportation and equipment moving.
• Support custodial and housekeeping duties as required.
• Store and retrieve equipment in accordance with operational needs.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned to ensure smooth operations across the facility.
