Structural Truss Systems specializes in the design, manufacturing, and transportation of custom roof trusses, floor systems, and wall panels for every size of residential, commercial, and agricultural projects. We operate out of over 38,000 square feet of manufacturing facility in Fort MacLeod, AB, just 25 minutes west of Lethbridge, AB.
We are currently looking to hire the following position in our Structural Truss Systems facility.
Role: Builder/General Labourer (Wall Shop)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
As a Builder/General Labourer, you will play a key role in assembling wall panels and building material components for our wall panel production shop. Your responsibilities will include positioning materials, clamping, splicing, and fitting parts with precision. You will work hands-on with both hand and power tools in a dynamic manufacturing environment, ensuring efficiency, quality, and accuracy in every assembly. For this role we are looking for someone with prior wall framing experience.

- Assemble Wall Panels in accordance with company procedures, standard work operating procedures and as instructed by the Lead Hand.
Key Requirements of the Job:
- Stand, walk, bend, and stretch for 8–10-hour shifts in a manufacturing environment.
- Lift, push, and pull 50-75 lbs repeatedly.
- Prior Wall Framing Experience is required.
- Use hands for grasping, handling, and precision work.
- Stay alert and focused while operating machinery.
- Must be able to read, write, and verbally communicate in English.
