John Ross & Sons is currently seeking General Laborers to join our team at our facility at 6 Long Lake Drive in Halifax! As the largest scrap metal recycling facility in Atlantic Canada, we seek energetic and safety minded individuals to join our expanding team!
Primary Responsibilities:
- Cleaning equipment
- Maintain organized inventory and sorting materials
- Maintain clean work environment
- Other duties as assigned
- Manual labor involved
- Ensuring safety protocols are being followed
Qualifications and Skills
- Reliable and dependable
- Ability to carry and lift up to 50lbs repetitively
- Ability to work full-time and in all weather conditions
- Ability to be on your feet for an extended period of time
- Ability to take direction and learn quickly
- Steel toed boots
