Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned)

• Under direction from Shop supervisor, works from drawings/process sheets or written/verbal instructions to perform production tasks.
• Operates band saw to cut stock material to length; distributes inventory to CNC stations.
• Feeds metal parts or stock into automatic metal working machines and removes machined part from machine after prescribed period of time or at end of machining cycle.
• Performs hand work to finish product; to include removing burrs, sharp edges, and/or scale from work piece(s).
• Helps with machine coolant monitoring and maintenance.
• Removes full chip carts and other scrap materials from the shop floor.
• Assist in other areas to maintain timeliness of projects.
• Keep work area and shop clean and organized; maintain a safe work environment.

 Minimum Qualification Standards:

• Ability to work Monday - Friday, 6:45am - 3:15pm with occasional overtime including weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent. 

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

• Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to the floor. 
• Ability to exert more than 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds of force frequently, and 25 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Exposure to high noise levels, physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts, fumes, dust, coolants, and oils.
