Maintenance Technician

Position Responsibilities

• Perform varied duties as needed to install and maintain production machines and the facility’s equipment.
• Provide unscheduled repairs of inoperable production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service times.
• Install wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as conveyors and programmable controllers.
• Perform repairs including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, etc.
• Read and interpret work orders to perform requires maintenance and service.
• Perform regular Preventive Maintenance (PM) on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
• Uses a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Must follow safe work practices and comply with all company, federal and state rules and regulations which apply to the job, including but not limited to, emergency evacuation, electrical safety, confined space, Blood borne pathogens, and lockout/tag out.
• Must keep the work area clean, neat, and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• High School or GED equivalent
• Minimum of two years’ experience
• This position requires working varied hours and/or weekend work.

Training Requirements

1.      TTP Orientation.

2.      Company Basic practices; Safety, QA & HR Policy.

3.      Standard Operating Procedure Manual Latest Edition.

Work Environment

Position requires to be exposed to High temperatures depending on the season. The position also requires to be exposed to noise levels ranging from moderate to high.

Physical Demands

The employee is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and color vision.
