General Labor

As a General Laborer, you will be an essential part of our production team, responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our production processes. This role involves hands-on work with different types of metals, quality control, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Shift

Full Time - Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Fulfill daily production requirements assigned by department lead or production manager.

·        Performs work in accordance with established safety procedures.

·        Work with different types of metals by assembling, cutting, drilling, painting, and punch press.

·        Cleaning, counting, and packaging of completed assemblies.

·        Perform visual quality inspections.

·        Perform measurements of products produced. 

·        Maintain activity logs and or production orders.

·        Maintain and clean workspace, which include sweeping, picking up garbage, and throwing garbage out.

·        Perform other duties as assigned by production manager.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Must be 18 years of age or older.

·        Knowledge of safety warehouse practices. 

·        Forklift experience.

·        Ability to prioritize daily responsibilities and tasks.

·        Good understanding of quality control principles.

·        Basic understanding of hand tools and power tools.

·        Must be able to use and read a tape measure.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

·        Safety Glasses – Company provided - Required while in the shop.

·        Industrial work shoes or boots required while in the shop.

·        Proper PPE must be worn for the job – Company provided.

·        Hearing protection – Company provided/Recommended.

·        Must wear long pants.

·        Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
