Required Qualifications 

Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application 

High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent 

Valid driver’s license 

Other qualifications may be required for certain positions

Preferred Qualifications 

Two years working experience in a related field

Louisiana POST Certification 

Responsibilities 

Adhere to the policies and procedures of the Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Maintain professional conduct at all times. 

Strictly adhere to policies safeguarding confidentiality

Benefits For Full Time Positions

Rate of pay is based on job title and experience. 

Postsecondary education and applicable job experience will be taken under consideration in respect to the rate of pay. 

Eligible for paid overtime 

Employer paid Health, Vision, Dental and Life insurance 

Vacation and Sick time after 1 year of continuous employment 

Eligible to earn additional leave when scheduled on an office holiday
