Position: Wind Technician - GE 2.5 MW
Job Description:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on wind turbines.
- Inspect and troubleshoot turbine components, including blades, generators and control systems.
- Use power tolls and hand tools to complete repairs and replacements.
- Conduct tests and inpsections to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a wind turbine technician or in a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in turbine maintenance
- Knowledge of low voltage electrical ssystems
- Experience with generator repair is a plus
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- GE 2.5 MW experience required
This position requires a high level of technical skills and attention to detail.
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
This position requires 100% travel in the US.
