Gas Station Manager

Job Summary

The Gas Station Manager is responsible for the daily operations, attainment of sales and profit goals, maintaining company values, policies and culture. Must protect the company through professionalism, customer service, leadership skills, quality assurance and attention to detail.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality customer service in accordance with our company standards
• Ensure that the convenience store part of the gas station is managed all times
• Supervise work activities of any sales representatives at the gas station
• Order and receive stock and ensure that all items are displayed on the shelves
• Label items with proper prices and make sure that any modifications in prices are readily handled
• Ensure that the area around the gas pumps and the convenience store is cleaned and maintained properly
• Receive fuel trucks and supervise refilling of fuel pumps
• Responsible for the hiring, scheduling, training and supervising all employees
• Responsible for day-to-day operations, daily reports, ordering and receiving merchandise, profits, expenses, inventory, cash and shortages
• Must learn and be proficient in using our back office and Point-of-Sale system
• Must handle customer transactions at the register

Requirements Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• 2 years of gas station experience
• Must pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to operate a cash register system
• Good communication skills, friendly, customer oriented, organized, detail oriented, sense of urgency
• Maintains a positive working relationship with customers and team members
• This position may require lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, squatting, and/or climbing
• Strong organizational and planning skills with specific attention to detail
• Basic computer skills are required, knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred

• Bilingual Spanish/English
• High school education preferred or equivalent
