Full-Time Night Shift Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Location: Akron, Ohio
Are you caring, dependable, and looking for a stable full-time night shift position where you can make a real difference? We are hiring compassionate Direct Support Professionals to provide overnight care and supervision to individuals with developmental disabilities in a safe, supportive home environment.
No driving is required for this position, and we will provide training for the right candidate.
What You’ll Do:
As a Night Shift DSP, you will:

Provide overnight supervision to ensure safety, comfort, and well-being
-
Assist with personal care as needed (toileting, hygiene, repositioning, dressing)

Administer medications (training provided; must be willing to become certified)
-
Monitor individuals for health or behavioral changes and respond appropriately

Perform light housekeeping and laundry
-
Complete required documentation and shift reports

Assist with morning routines when needed
-
Maintain a calm, structured, and secure environment throughout the night
What We’re Looking For:

Compassionate, patient, and reliable individuals

Willing to complete and maintain:
-
Medication Administration Certification
-
CPR & First Aid Certification
-

Comfortable assisting with personal care, including toileting

Able to lift at least 25 lbs (more in some cases)

Good communication, reading, and writing skills
-
Able to stay awake, alert, and attentive throughout overnight hours
-
No driver’s license required for this position
