Full Time Barista - El Camino Baking Company

El Camino Baking Company is a small, artisan café and bakery dedicated to high-quality coffee, fresh pastries, and exceptional customer service. We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and self-motivated full-time Barista to join our team. Schedule requirements are 6:30am-3:00pm Wednesday through Friday and 7:30am-3:00pm Saturday and Sunday- off Mondays and Tuesdays. Hourly base wage is $15.00/hour plus tips. Full-time employees also qualify for benefits including majority employer-paid health insurance, holiday pay, and paid time off.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare espresso and coffee beverages with consistency and attention to quality

• Provide friendly, efficient customer service at the counter

• Assist with retail pastry and food service, including preparation, presentation, and packaging

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Support daily café operations as needed

• Participate in menu development, including seasonal drink ideas and café offerings

Qualifications

• Previous barista or café experience required

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude

• Interest in coffee, food, and contributing creative ideas to the menu
