Role:
To develop and maintain relationships with members and potential members by determining their needs, maximizing opportunities, processing financial transactions, resolving problems, answering questions. To identify and suggest financial services that would improve our members' lives. Attendance is an essential function of performing the duties of this job.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
50% - Conducts new account functions, including share, share draft, IRAs and certificates; explains various account and ownership options, providing the necessary counseling to meet member's needs, and obtains the required information and documentation. Prepares all documents and paperwork; assists members with completing forms.
20% - Prepares and reviews all new account documentation for accuracy and compliance, forwarding to auditing in a timely manner.
15% - Listens to members and refers credit union products that would be beneficial to their needs. Works closely with lending department to provide potential referrals.
10% - Assists and provides back-up within the department and other areas as needed, including logging into phone queue, answering web chat, and video banking.
5% - Performs other related duties as assigned.
