Front Office Manager, Avid Hotel Lexington, KY
Overview:
This job will be a mixture of working at least two 3pm-11pm shifts weekly, along with working on weekends. You must have open availability that requires weekends and holidays. The front office manager is the face of the General Manager and the manager on duty.
Join our team as a full-time front office manager at the avid hotel. We are searching for a strong candidate to assist the General Manager. We seek a dynamic individual to assist in overseeing the daily operations and ensuring exceptional guest services. If you are enthusiastic about hotel management, customer service, and creating memorable experiences, we want to hear from you!
The ideal dedicated hospitality candidate will also be involved in collaborating closely with the General Manager and ownership to ensure cleanliness, organization, and systems are in place. Sales assistance with rooming lists. Maintaining an elevated level of communication of supplies needed and working closely with vendors, or other tasks instructed by the General Manager and ownership.

To Recap Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and supporting hotel staff with day-to-day operations
- Consistently delivering top-notch guest services
- Assist in managing and working shifts on the front desk for smooth check-ins
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the hotel
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Assist the General Manager/ownership with strategies for improving guest satisfaction
- Initiative-taking to ensure work is completed timely and urgently overseen
- Monitor phone etiquette
- Assist in training staff on hospitality best practices
- Oversee daily operations in the absence of the General Manager
Requirements:
- Previous experience in resort or hospitality management
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
- Proficiency in front desk operations and reservation systems
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of hotel management software is preferred/ Opera
