Comfort Fuel is a brand-new fast-casual restaurant located on the campus of the University of Wisconsin founded by Co-Founder of Forage Kitchen Doug Hamaker and longtime Madison chef and all around motivator David Spittel . We're dedicated to serving delicious, freshly prepared meals in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Our menu features a wide range of options, from mouthwatering breakfast , sandwiches, and wraps to nutritious bowls and more. Job Description: We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team at Comfort Fuel! As a Team Member, you will play a key role in creating a positive dining experience for our customers. You'll have the opportunity to interact with students, faculty, and staff while serving up our delicious menu items.

Responsibilities:

• Take orders at the Toast point of sale – understand loyalty program, delivery and take out orders, overall knowledge of the point of sale software
• Prepare and assemble acai bowls according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following food safety guidelines.
• Greet customers with a friendly attitude and assist with their orders.
• Answer customer questions and provide information about our menu offerings.
• Ensure food quality and presentation meet our high standards.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Follow opening and closing procedures as required.

Qualifications:

• Positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow food safety and hygiene guidelines.
• Previous restaurant or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
