Location: Three Rivers Youth - 6117 Broad St., Pittsburgh, PA. 15206
Status: Full-Time /9 AM-5 PM
Salary: $35,000/Year
Position Summary: The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for all clients, visitors, and staff. This individual will provide exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations, including greeting guests, answering phones, maintaining security protocols, and supporting administrative functions to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities: Greet and welcome all visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and courteously. Maintain visitor sign-in logs and issue visitor badges per security policy. Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail, packages, and deliveries. Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and conference room usage. Maintain a clean and organized reception area. Assist with data entry, filing, copying, and other clerical duties as needed. Communicate effectively with internal staff to relay messages or resolve front office issues. Monitor front desk supplies and request restocking when necessary. Ensure compliance with company policies and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative support role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Bilingual skills are a plus (optional).
Work Environment:
Office setting; may require occasional lifting of supplies up to 15 lbs.
Regular work hours: [e.g., Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m]
May occasionally require flexibility for early or late coverage.
