Who are we?

Laurus is an organization that offers innovative, enriching, and fun educational and extracurricular programs for children aged 5 to 12. We believe in personalized, caring, and stimulating support that builds confidence and makes learning enjoyable.

What we’re looking for

We are seeking a passionate and committed tutor with strong proficiency in French (written and spoken). The ideal candidate may also be able to tutor in other subjects such as Math, Science, and English, depending on their background. A solid command of English is highly desired, as many of our students are bilingual.

Priority subjects:

• French (reading, writing, grammar)

• Math

• Science

• English (if fully bilingual)

Ideal profile:

• Student or graduate in education, teaching, or a related field

• Experience in tutoring or homework help (an asset)

• Ability to adapt teaching methods based on the student’s level and needs

• Positive, kind, and energetic attitude

• Bilingualism (French/English) is a strong asset

Job conditions:

• Part-time position, this is a contactor position (mostly after school hours or weekends)

• Possibility of in-person or virtual tutoring

• Competitive hourly rate, based on experience
